Graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (1995), PhD. in Nuclear Power Engineering (2008). Since 1995 he has been working for VUJE, a.s., Nuclear Safety Division. He deals mostly with safety analyses, is responsible for compiling licensing analyses, solves major projects in the field of nuclear safety. He is expert on design concepts, safety thermohydraulic analyses, thermomechanical behaviour of nuclear fuel. He has been responsible for and managed many diverse large projects for Slovak nuclear power plants, participated in several EU research projects. He is EU representative in the Generation IV International Forum, dealing for more then 10 years with advanced nuclear designs.
