Graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (1997), postgraduates at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of the STU (2001) on the Safety aspects of nuclear installations operation, working since 1997 for VUJE. He is an expert on safety and licensing grade analyses and development of licensing documentation, was responsible for and participated on major projects for assessment of nuclear safety of VVER-440 units in Slovakia. His expertise extends especially to emergency states and means to cope with them, including development of emergency guides and instructions.
