He obtained his university degree at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava in 2001 and his PhD. at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology in 2015. He has been working for VUJE since 2001. He is skilled expert in phenomenology and simulations of severe accidents of nuclear installations (inclusive fuel melting and relocation), focusing on hydrogen production, hydrogen transport and distribution in containment and assessment of destruction effects of hydrogen burning. He was responsible for several projects of development and justification of licensing documentation, based on deterministic simulations of severe accidents. He has actively participated in numerous EU research projects, being responsible for Slovak contribution.
